Fashionably late with Vogue!

It’s on the 8th of September that Vogue is hosting its global fashion initiative, Fashion’s Night Out in Britain and Korea . Just after kicking off the 2nd edition of this big night in France on the 7th, will follow other countries such as Australia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, India, Russia, The United States, China, Japan, Taiwan and to conclude on the 16 of September in Greece and Turkey.

In total 16 countries will take part in “the international Vogue editions in efforts to support shops and fashion in their markets around the world” said Jonathan Newhouse, chairman of Condé Nast International. There will also be some exclusivities such as the Vogue’s Night Out T-Shirt available at selfriges which all the profits will be going to the Kids’ Company charity.

Also happening in Selfriges will be a drink raised to celebrate the launch of the brand new Mulberry boutique with the presence of its creative Director Emma Hill.

Lips makeover by the “main de fee” of Clinique who won’t let you leave without your free Clinique Lip Pallette. Champagne and cupcakes is what is waiting for you at Sisley.

Bat your lashes at Shu Uemura to get Vogue inspired lashes that will be available at Fashion’s Night Out exclusively.

For men Aubin & Wills will be hosting a silent disco in Men’s Spirit, just pick up your headset.

Vogue Contributing Editor, Vassi Chamberlain, will be joined by designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos for a little chat!

Come to Simone Perele for fitting advice and you will receive a complimentary mini bottle of champagne. There will also be models showcasing the latest collection and the chance to enter a competition to win a ‘Wardrobe of Lingerie’ – six sets worth approximately £500!

C’est le 8 septembre que Vogue presente pour sa 2ieme edition, une initiative mode international, Fashion’s Night Out au Royaume-Unie et en Coree. Une journee apres avoir fait le lancement officiel du cote des francais et pour etre suivie par 16 autres pays incluant l’Australie, l’Allemagne, l’Italie, le Portugal, l’Espagne, l’Inde, la Russie, les Etats-Unies, la Chine, le Japon, Taiwan et pour finir le tout par la Grece et la Turquie le 16 septembre.

“C’est une opportunite qui est offerte en tant que support aux boutiques et industries de la mode a travers le monde” partage Johathan Newhouse, chairman de Condé Nast International. Plusieurs compagnies et marques profiteront de l’occasion pour faire une levée de fond pour l’organisme de charité qui tiennent a coeur.

Malheureusement le Canada ne fait pas partie des pays participant mais si vous avez envie de faire quelques heures de route pour vous rendre a NYC vous serez servie avec de un, la semaine de la mode qui a le vent dans les voiles et de deux, une multitude de boutiques endossant l’événement du magasine Vogue offrant une planitude d’activitées.
